Advanced Math & Science Academy HEALTH CURRICULUM Health Projects
GRADING:
Your grade in health class will be based on attendance, class participation,
and the projects listed below.
PROJECT #1 - - POSTER:
Project #1 will be a poster on any health-related topic within the scope
of the course.
Pick a topic that you think is important to teach other people about.
If you have a choice between a general topic and a
specific one, please pick the more specific one:
vitamin C instead of
all vitamins; colon cancer instead of all cancers; cocaine (or
methamphetamine) instead of all dangerous drugs.
Include both text (either paragraphs, lists, tables, or a combination
of these) and illustrations.
Use both print sources and Internet sources. You must GIVE CREDIT
to all sources used.
(One way is to put a bibliography at the bottom.)
Print sources should be cited using a recognized format such as MLA.
Internet sources should be cited by giving the address (URL) in
angle brackets.
Any illustration taken from a source should be credited to that source.
Make sure your name and your class (7A, 7B, etc.) are on your poster.
Posters are DUE on Friday, April 7.

Use both print sources and Internet sources.
You must GIVE CREDIT to all sources used.
