The Advanced Math and Science Academy was established in 2004 and opened its doors to students in 2005. The thrust behind the founding of the Academy was the desire to offer children a classical education with an emphasis on the technology, science, and math knowledge so important in today’s economy. Underlying the curriculum is a fundamental belief that children, given the right opportunities, can master concepts more advanced than those currently taught in most public schools.
We believe that teaching children to apply diligence in a rigorous academic setting is the best way to prepare them for success in the world. We hold all children to high standards and we provide a combination of academic levels and student support services to teach a heterogeneous student population.
