Support AMSA
In order to meet our growth targets, AMSA needs your help. There are many ways for families, foundations, and business organizations to help make a difference in the education of students.
Volunteer at the Academy
Parent Volunteers are needed to support the everyday operation of the Academy, assisting with administrative tasks, hosting book fairs, and staffing the library.
The Parent Action Group(PAG), operating through a structure of subcommittees, coordinates newsletters, assists with building planning, and plans social and community outreach events.
Contribute to the Capital and Operating Funds
With prospects of expanding the school in order to accommodate the planned high school grades, the AMSA Foundation, a 501c(3) organization , has launched its 2006-2007 "Education for the Future" Campaign. The foundation hopes to achieve 100% participation from AMSA families and to elicit twice the corporate support achieved last year. AMSA families and other supporters may send checks, made payable to the AMSA Charter School Foundation, directly to the school. All gifts are tax-deductible.
Make an In-Kind Donation of Equipment, Furniture, or Supplies
