Congratulations to Tran Trang, one of 52 teachers nationwide, selected for the 2009 Edyth May Sliffe Award for Distinguished Junior High/Middle School Mathematics Teaching by the American Mathematical Association of America. Tran joins the ranks of Dilip Gandhi who won this award in 2008.
The Sliffe Award is made possible by a generous bequest of Edyth May Sliffe, a former mathematics teacher in Emeryville, California. It has been presented to mathematics teachers since 1989.
