Dr. Lisa C. Mobley is a lifelong educator who is passionate about continuous learning and growth. Dr. Mobley spent the early years of her educational career as a school adjustment counselor focusing on trauma and cognitive-based therapy. In recent years she led King Philip Regional High School as their principal. In that role, she developed innovative programs that allowed students to find and explore their passions. She has also spent much of her time coaching future administrators as they pursue their state licensures.
Dr. Mobley enjoys her family time with her three boys and three dogs. When she is not focusing on education, she enjoys crocheting and being the passenger on motorcycle treks to find exceptional ice cream and wood-grilled pizza.

James Fortier- Upper School Dean

James Fortier joined AMSA in 2024 as the Associate Dean of Students following a 10 tenure with Sizer Charter School, A North Central Charter Essential School located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. During his time at Sizer, James worked his way from being a paraprofessional, to Assistant Dean of Students, Dean of Students and then Manager of School Operations. Upon his appointment to Dean of Students, James had the task of reviewing and creating a road map for Sizer to reduce disparate rates of discipline for students with disabilities and students of color during a 5-year strategic plan.
