Staying Remote

Your child will remain in online learning for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.Students remaining in online learning may not enter the school grounds during the school day for any reason. Students who are assigned to online learning who are found on campus during the school day will be sent home immediately. Students staying online may participate in athletics and extracurricular opportunities in the same manner as students who are attending school in person.

Covid-19 and Remote Learning

If a student is coming to school for any extra-curricular or athletics event, they will need to use the AMSACS Covid-19 Daily Self Checklist attached to this document to screen for symptoms(the self screen does not need to be submitted to school). If a student has any of the symptoms on the AMSACS Covid-19 Daily Self Checklist, the student must stay home. Parents are asked to email AMSA’s Covid nurse, Maureen Searl, at m.searl@amsacs.org for further  instructions and to contact their child's doctor to arrange for a Covid test. Students will also need to stay home and get tested if a household member has tested positive for Covid-19.

Parents are asked to contact Nurse Searl at m.searl@amsacs.org as quickly as possible if they learn that their child or a member of their household has tested positive for Covid-19.
