1) Registration Information
Registration is now available in FamilyID.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
If you already have a FamilyID account (if you've registered for AMSA Athletics during either of the last two school years), a parent/guardian can register by clicking on this link.
If you are registering as a new user on FamilyID, follow these steps:
First, create and activate your FamilyID account.

After you sign up for an account please check your inbox for an Activation Email from FamilyID. You'll need to click the link in that email to activate your account.

Once you have activated your account, you will be ready to register for our program! Please click here to watch a quick video or read a help article on how to register for the first time on FamilyID.
The Athletic fee for this school year will again be $350. However, no payment is required at this time, Athletic Fees will be collected via MySchoolBucks once rosters are finalized in early September. Payments will be due before the first contest in each sport.

Boys & Girls Cross Country (All Grades eligible)
- Monday 8/19 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ghiloni Park.
- Tuesday 8/20 6 p.m. To 8 p.m. At Ghiloni Park.
- Wednesday 8/21 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ghiloni Park (Two-mile time trial).
- Thursday 8/22 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ghiloni Park.
- Friday 8/23 Varsity Only – Scrimmage at York, ME at 10 a.m. (bus leaves 7:30 a.m.)
- Saturday 8/24 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Gates Pond (Taylor Rd, Berlin)
- Regular season practice will commence on Monday 8/26 and will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ghiloni Park. There will be a bus that departs AMSA each day at 2:55 p.m. to Ghiloni Park. Parent pick-up will be on location at Ghiloni Park. Also, some practices will be held at the Williams St. baseball fields just up the street from AMSA. There will be an occasional Saturday a.m. practice as well.
Golf Try-Outs (All-Grades)
- Details for try-outs the week of 8/19 are still being solidified.
- Please note, if trying out for the Varsity Golf team, students should have their own clubs and should be able to shoot in the low 50's or better for nine holes.
Football (Co-Op at Maynard High) Begins August 16th
***Grades 9-12 only. Registration & Pre-season information will be shared with returning players and those rising freshmen that signed up via Google Form in June. Football registration will not be taking place in AMSA's FamilyID this year, but rather in Maynard's. Please contact Mr. Jones at pjones@amsacs.org if you have not received the information but are interested in playing Football at Maynard High.
Field Hockey (Co-Op at Marlborough) Begins on August 19th
- ***Grades 9-12 only. Try-Out Information will be shared directly with registrants.
Dance (Co-Op at Hudson) Begins August 16th
- ***Grades 8-12 only. Try-Out Information will be shared directly with registrants. If you've already registered in Hudson's FamilyID you do not need to register in AMSA's.
3) Additional Information About Fall 2024 Sports
Please also remember, all students who wish to participate in Athletics here at AMSA need to have a physical exam on file with the school nurse that is dated on or more recently than 7/19/23. Any physical exam given prior to that date has expired. You can email them to pjones@amsacs.org over the summer or mail to AMSA to the attention of Athletic Director Pete Jones. You can also upload a PDF of a current physical exam into FamilyID.
Students who wish to participate in Fall Athletics need to be present at all try-out sessions. At the conclusion of try-outs, regular season practices will begin right away.
There is no increase to the Athletic Fee for this year, which is $350, with a discounted $300 Sibling Rate for any additional children you have participating in a given season. Fees will be due upon the finalization of rosters and must be paid prior to the first contest in September.

4) Quick Note to Spring 2024 Student-Athletes
If you are still in possession of your uniform from this spring, please return it to Ms. Paille in the Upper School office on any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday this summer between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. beginning July 9. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please e-mail Mr. Jones at pjones@amsacs.org. Please note, Fall uniforms will not be distributed to anyone who hasn't turned in their Spring uniform.
