1) Registration Information
Registration is now available in FamilyID.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
If you already have a FamilyID account (if you've registered for AMSA Athletics during either of the last two school years), a parent/guardian can register by clicking on this link.
If you are registering as a new user on FamilyID, follow these steps:
First, create and activate your FamilyID account.

If you have not already done so, create a FamilyID account here.

After you sign up for an account please check your inbox for an Activation Email from FamilyID. You'll need to click the link in that email to activate your account.

Once you have activated your account, you will be ready to register for our program!
The Athletic fee for this school year will again be $350. You can pay during the registration process, or wait until you're certain your child will make a team. No payment is required at this time. Athletic Fees will be collected via MySchoolBucks once rosters are finalized in early September. Payments will be due before the first contest in each sport.

Regular season practice will commence on Monday 8/25 and will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ghiloni Park. There will be a bus that departs AMSA each day at 2:55 p.m. to Ghiloni Park. Parent pick-up will be on location at Ghiloni Park. Also, some practices will be held at the Williams St. baseball fields just up the street from AMSA. There will be an occasional Saturday a.m. practice as well.

Please note, if trying out for the Varsity Golf team, students should have their own clubs and should be able to shoot in the low 50's or better for nine holes.
Football (Co-Op at Maynard High) Begins August 15th
***Grades 9-12 only. Registration & Pre-season information will be shared with returning players and those rising freshmen that signed up via Google Form in June. Football registration will not be taking place in AMSA's FamilyID this year, but rather in Maynard's. Please contact Mr. James at jjames@amsacs.org if you have not received the information but are interested in playing Football at Maynard High.
Field Hockey (Co-Op at Marlborough) Begins on August 18th

Dance (Co-Op at Hudson) Begins August 15th
- ***Grades 8-12 only. Try-Out Information will be shared directly with registrants. If you've already registered in Hudson's FamilyID you do not need to register in AMSA's.
3) AMSA's New Athletic Director
AMSA's new Athletic Director for the 2025-26 school year is Mr. Jaquan James. He can be reached at jjames@amsacs.org. Mr. James just wrapped up his second year as the Assistant Athletic Director at Hopkinton High School. He was a former high school student-athlete at Franklin High School and also played college basketball at Dean College. Welcome Mr. James!
4) Additional Information About Fall 2025 Sports
Please also remember, all students who wish to participate in Athletics here at AMSA need to have a physical exam on file with the school nurse that is dated on or more recently than 7/18/24. Any physical exam given prior to that date has expired. You can email them to jjames@amsacs.org over the summer or mail to AMSA to the attention of Athletic Director Jaquan James. You can also upload a PDF of a current physical exam into FamilyID.
Students who wish to participate in Fall Athletics need to be present at all try-out sessions. At the conclusion of try-outs, regular season practices will begin right away.
There is no increase to the Athletic Fee for this year, which is $350, with a discounted $300 Sibling Rate for any additional children you have participating in a given season. Fees will be due upon the finalization of rosters and must be paid prior to the first contest in September.

5) Quick note to Spring 2025 Student-Athletes re: Uniforms!
If you are still in possession of your uniform from this spring, please return it to Ms. Paille in the Lower School main office on any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday this summer between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please note, Fall uniforms will not be distributed to anyone who hasn't turned in their Spring uniform.
