Whether you are looking to partner with AMSA, volunteer your time, or make a gift, we offer many ways to support our school and help us fulfill its mission.
Families
An AMSA education is a true partnership between the school and our students' families. In addition to interacting with teachers and staff, here are some of the ways you can engage with AMSA.
Family Forums – Family Forums held most months during the school year, either in person at ForeKicks or via Zoom during remote learning periods. You will hear updates from administrators and have a chance to ask questions on any topic. Video archives
Board of Trustees – Monthly meetings are open to the public and are typically held on the fourth Thursday of each month, either in person at AMSA or via Zoom. Video archives Calendar
If you would like to speak during Public Comment at the beginning of a meeting, please email Trustee Liz Saul at l.saul@amsacs.org to schedule a time. Or, you can email Parent Representative Bela Gorman at bgorman@amsacs.org, and she will mention your questions or concerns to the Board.

AMSA PTO – The PTO plays a vital role in supporting the AMSA’s mission, students, and faculty/staff. They hold a variety of fundraisers and other events throughout the year. PTO website
Community Council – Composed of parents, faculty, staff, and students, the council meets four times during the school year to provide feedback to the administration about topics important to our students’ education. Please email Sara Snow at s.snow@amsacs.org if you are interested in joining the council.
Volunteering – If you have a special talent or interest, offer to share it with a class! Or, help out with the annual AMSA Golf Tournament, which is organized by the PTO but run by volunteers. Contact Community Outreach Mgr. Mark Vital.
Donations – Consider contributing to AMSA's Annual Campaign, which raises funds for a variety of school needs. Don’t forget, your employer might match your donation! Contact Community Outreach Mgr. Mark Vital.
Corporations
Partnerships – We will work with you to establish internships, mentorships, speaking opportunities, or other programs that help our education mission and align with your community relations goals. Learn more
Sponsorships – Support an AMSA event, program, activity, or facility. Gain promotional value throughout the AMSA community in the 495 corridor and beyond. Associate your brand with one of the top public high schools and STEM programs in the state.

Golf Tournament – AMSA’s annual tournament offers many opportunities to put your company’s name in front of business leaders from across the region, while supporting AMSA’s renowned teaching programs.
Scholarships – Scholarships in your company’s name can help AMSA students after graduation and give your brand long-term positive name recognition.
Community
AMSA is dedicated to being a part of our local community. Through the school's many clubs and other groups, AMSA students engage in service projects that help meet many community needs. AMSA’s Alumni Association holds a variety of annual events including five-year reunions. These are some ways you can stay in touch with fellow alumni and what’s happening at AMSA.
