The Black Student Union (BSU) serves to provide a supportive environment for students at AMSA.

Enjoy "Coffee and Conversation" and help encourage students to read for fun and rediscover the joy in literature.

Club Rome is the Latin Club where we celebrate everything Latin and Italian.

A club for learning/refining programming skills. All are welcome, even if they've never programmed before!

The goals of this club are to teach students acting, presentation, and production skills through school wide drama productions.

AMSA Fencing is open to all AMSA students in Grades 6-12, no previous experience necessary.

Students will gather to learn the art of needle felting in 2D, 3D and some basic sewing skills. Each month will cover a new subject theme.

Club will be a learning/interest club for kids interested in investing, business, and economics.

FIRST® Tech Challenge’s thrilling robotics competitions help students develop a sense of accomplishment.

Gaming Club provides an opportunity for students who enjoy games to meet, socialize, and play together in a really fun gaming experience.

Students will come to Guitar Club to learn about the history of guitar and music in general, play guitar, and receive guitar lessons.

The AMSA chapter of Model United Nations is part of a global student organization that introduces students to international affairs.

The club's mission is to raise money for global organization which treats cleft lip and cleft palate.

Provides opportunities to make a difference by addressing the community's greatest needs and developing leadership skills.

Come and join roleplaying club! We welcome new and old players alike and are happy to teach anyone new to the hobby!

AMSA Science Bowl Club welcomes science enthusiasts who are quick thinkers and curious, prepares students for National Science Bowl.

We will meet for EIGHT Fridays this year: January 5,12, 19, 26 and February 2, 9, 16, and March 1.

Recognized chapted of SODA, students educate their peers and others on the need for organ donation within America.

This is a club where we focus on life skills including personal finance, resume building, automotive maintenance, sewing, etc.

Encourage and Engage young women into STEM field with systems of support in middle school and High School.

This is a literary magazine that showcases the talents of the student body. We accept writing, photography, artwork, etc.

Launching Video Podcast

Student Gov is launching a new video podcast called Aftermath! This will be by students, for students... talking about things that affect AMSA students.

MarshmallowSpaghettiTowers

AMSA’s Society of Women Engineers Club hosted a marshmallow & spaghetti noodle structure building competition. All high schoolers were invited to test their ability to build a tower using only marshmallows and dry spaghetti noodles!  Watch video

2023 AMSA Chess Tournament

Here is action from AMSA’s version of March Madness – the 2023 AMSA Chess Tournament! Hosted by the Rook's Corner Club, first rounds were played on Monday. Players who advanced through their brackets will compete next Monday for the championship. 

AMSA UNICEF Hosts Women's Day Conference

AMSA UNICEF recently hosted its annual Women's Day Conference for the first time since the pandemic. Attendees heard from several professionals with local ties about their experiences as women in the workforce. Special thanks to Dr. Nicole Hill, City Councilman at Large Samantha Pearlman, Dr. Ipsita Roymoulik, and Board of Trustees members Bela Gorman and Maura Webster for speaking so openly about their experiences. It was an inspiring night for all in attendance! AMSA UNICEF Club's faculty advisors are Ms. Murphy and Dr. Doyle.

Night Out With the Astronomy Club

Members of the Astronomy Club brave the cold to view the night sky. Objects viewed included Jupiter, Mars, Venus, the Moon, Orion Nebula, Comet C/2020 E3 (ZTF), and the Andromeda Galaxy. We also saw a flyover of the space station, and took pictures of the comet and the Orion Nebula. The Orion Nebula is the closest star-forming Nebula to Earth but is still over 1300 light years away!

Day of the Dead Celebration

Spanish National Honor Society celebrated Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday when families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a reunion. Ms. Makynen helped students decorate mini skulls in bright colors, a tradition meant to celebrate the departed souls.  photos

Ghiloni Park Cleanup

Over 60 members of the AMSA track & field team and Leaders of Tomorrow collected litter throughout Ghiloni Park and also manicured miles of trails on May 1.
