COVID-19 Guidelines for 2023-2024 School Year

Greetings! We personally welcome you and your family to AMSA. As the school nurses, we look forward to building a lasting relationship with you and your children over the next six years. Please feel free to call us, or send us an email, with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child. If we are unavailable to take your call, please leave a message on our voice mail and we will call you back as soon as possible.

Goals of the School Health Services Program
“School Nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy, and learning.” National Association of School Nurses, 1999
