A language placement test in French and Spanish is being offered to any interested 8th grade students with background knowledge. The purpose of the test is for placement in 9th grade French and Spanish. For example, students who participated in an immersion program, took the language at a previous school, and/or are heritage speakers, may want to take the placement test.
The online test, called PLACE, is under an hour long and can be done at home. The test assesses students on speaking, writing, reading and contextualized grammar: https://avantassessment.com/
