Toiletry Drive for Shelters

Leaders of Tomorrow club is holding a drive to collect toiletry items for Roland’s House, a local shelter in Marlborough, and Willis House, a family shelter in Hudson. All donations can be dropped off in the Lower School and Upper School offices. Accepted donations: shampoo, bodywash, menstrual products, razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes/toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, lip balm, hair brushes, etc. (Travel-sized also accepted.)  flyer

Making Waves

Hands-on Physics lesson! Everything in the known Universe has wave properties. Musical instruments work with what are called Standing Waves. Dr. Clarage's 11th grade Physics students were learning how to make standing waves with various weight strings and ropes. It's not so easy.  video

Winter Treats Bake Sale on 12/8

When - December 8th, 2022 -- Where - LS Cafeteria. The Money Wizards club is bringing delicious homemade baked goods for sale to brighten and warm your cold and chilly days of December. The money raised by this event will go towards various AMSA administrative and operative expenses. So, come with your friends and buy these yummy sweets and contribute to our AMSA! AMSA Drama Society Winter Production 12/9 & 12/10

AMSA drama Society will be performing Shakespeare's classic comedy Much Ado About Nothing on Friday, 12/9 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, 12/10 at 3 & 7 p.m. at First Church in Marlborough. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $8 for Students/Seniors and available on MySchoolBucks before noon on Friday or at the door (cash or check).  more details

AMSA Fencing Club Winter Session Begins 12/9

The winter session of the AMSA Fencing Club begins on Friday 12/9 and runs each Friday through 2/10. Register on MySchoolBucks. The cost is $175.00. AMSA Fencing is open to all AMSA students in Grades 6 through 12. No previous experience is necessary. This is the second of three sessions, allowing students to join now that fall sports are over.  more details

Take the Polar Plunge on 12/10 to Fight Polio!

Leaders of Tomorrow club is asking for your help to fight against Polio by taking the Polar Plunge on Saturday, 12/10, 10 a.m. at Memorial Beach (corner of Causeway and Hosmer streets in Marlborough). First 100 to register will receive a long-sleeve tech shirt and a keepsake mug of hot chocolate! The donation amount is $40 and all proceeds will be going to Rotary International's fight to eradicate Polio! Volunteers are needed to swim and help distribute the hot chocolate! Wrap Around the World on 12/14

Do you have a lot of wrapping to do for the holidays and birthdays around the break, and just need a break? You can have your gifts wrapped and help raise funds for the travel groups (busing to airport, etc.) at the same time. Come to the Upper School Lobby on Wednesday, December 14th from 3:30-6:30pm with your gifts and we will wrap them for you. The cost each is $2 small, $3 medium, $4 large present wrapped.

Info Mtg on 12/14 for Ecuador/Galapagos Islands Trip in 2024

Current 8th-11th graders and families are invited to an info meeting on Wednesday 12/14 at 6 p.m. about a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands over 2024 February break. Come hear all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, the cost of the trip and more. The meeting will be held in the Lower School Cafe with a Zoom option as well. Class of 2022 Yearbook Supplement

To all who purchased a yearbook last year - please come to room 502 to pick up your Spring Supplement!  This is an insert of the spring sports and events to go into the 2022 yearbook. If you bought a book in person (not online), please bring your 2022 book with you for proof of purchase.

Host Families for Japanese Students

Egyptian Gods/Goddesses

6th grade students in Mr. Proulx's Ancient History course researched the Egyptian gods and goddesses and presented their research on tissue boxes instead of the typical poster.
