The Quill Is Open for Submissions

The Quill is AMSA’s annual Literary and Creative Magazine that showcases the talents of you -- AMSA students from every grade. If you’ve never seen it, take a look at last year’s edition or archives of previous editions. We encourage you to submit your writing, artwork, digital media, or photography to thequill@amsacs.org to be included in the 2023-2024 edition! Deadline for Upper School Course Selection Extended to 2/16

We have extended the deadline for 2024-2025 school year course selections to Friday 2/16. All current 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students must have their course selections completed in PowerSchool by the deadline. If you're in grades 9-11, counselors will be meeting with H2, A2, B2, C2 (Percoskie & Wong), and F2 study halls on Thursday, 2/15. You can see all courses in the Upper School Program of Studies PDF or the new webpage version, where you can filter by grade, subject area, credits, and course level.

Women of Science Scholarship Competition

Are you looking for fun STEM challenges with a chance to win prizes and scholarships? Do you want to build a catapult to launch a Barbie to targeted distances and heights? Two teams of 3 women in 11th and 12th grade are invited to John Glenn Middle School in Bedford, MA on Saturday March 23rd 8am - 2pm for the Women of Science Scholarship Competition. This year's theme is 'Moving Mountains'. Contact Dr. Mortimer (smortimer@amsacs.org) to discuss/register ASAP because spots fill up. More info about events is here.
