Three AMSA teams were crowned "Champions" of the recent Central Mass. Athletic Director's Association Spring Tournaments.
MHS/AMSA Boys Tennis came into the tournament as the four-seed and earned a 3-2 win at Assabet vs visiting Groton-Dunstable in the championship match on Tuesday. The team is now 8-5 and will face Wachusett Regional in an MIAA Div. 1 Central Quarterfinal today at 3:30 p.m. at Marlborough High.
The AMSA Girls Tennis team garnered the next trophy on Wednesday with a dominant 5-0 win over Hudson in the final match at Assabet. The Eagles are an unbeaten 14-0 and earned the second seed in the MIAA Div. 3 Central Tournament and will host No. 7 Bartlett today at 1 p.m. at Assabet in a Quarterfinal!
The final trophy was collected on Wednesday night by the Baseball team. The Eagles earned walk-off wins in both the Semifinal and Final, culminating with a 4-3 result over Oakmont Regional in the championship game. AMSA is now 12-1 and earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming MIAA Div. 3 Central. The Eagles will host a Quarterfinal on Wednesday at Steven's Park against either No. 7 BVT or No. 10 Assabet.
