Building Marshmallow Towers

Ms. Bowen’s AP Microeconomics students learned about revenue, costs, and production by building towers out of marshmallows and toothpicks! The goal for each team was to design a profitable building, accounting for material/fixed costs and potential revenue from each level, as well as bonuses for strength and staying upright. The teams learned, among other things, that the tallest tower wasn’t necessarily the most profitable!
