Celebrating National Foreign Language Week
AMSA is observing National Foreign Language Week, a great way to recognize all of our students' diverse cultural backgrounds and linguistic talents.
Each day during morning announcements, a student says "good morning and have a great day" in a different language, including French, Spanish, Creole, Farsi, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, Navajo and Somali.
The World Language department created a bulletin board and tabletop signs displaying “hello” in languages from around the world, and they hung large banners with country flags in the cafeterias.
