Great Results for Speech and Debate Team at Tournament

This past weekend AMSA's Speech and Debate Team participated in the Lincoln-Sudbury Warrior Showdown, the first in person tournament of the year, with some great results! In Group Discussion, where the debate topic was "Civility in Society with focus areas in schools, politics, social media, and community", two AMSA students made it to the finals round. Captain Sugita Mahendarkar placed 2nd and Senior Aryan Kumar placed 5th. Seniors Shreya Suresh and Mark Mousad placed 6th in Children’s Literature and Impromptu, respectively.  Congratulations to the team!
