Four of AMSA's high school students earned a silver "Maxima Cum Laude" medal on the National Latin Exam taken last month. Medal winners included ninth graders Cameron Durant, Jackson Molloy and Matthew Rodriguez and 10th grader Lucas Budiansky. In addition, the following students earned a "magna cum laude" certificate: Gabe Casanas, Violet Hackett, Molly Hauri and Vatsal Patel. Just under 100,000 students from across the nation participated in the exam, which is sponsored by the American Classical League. This year AMSA's ninth and tenth grade Latin classes took the exam. Congratulations to all award recipients and to their Latin teacher Mr. Schlichtmann!
