Middle School Math Team Takes 3rd Place at Pi Day Math Tournament

AMSA’s Middle School Math Team took 3rd Place at the third annual Pi Day Math Tournament held at WPI on Saturday! In individual competition, 7th grader Akhilsai Damera came in 2nd Place in the Countdown Round. AMSA’s High School Math Team and Mass. Academy of Math & Science’s Math Team co-host the tournament each year for area middle school math teams. They organize the entire event from logistics to marketing to creating questions for each round. Congratulations to the middle school team for their results as well as the high school team for running the event!
