Speech and Debate Team at State Speech and Congress Finals

This past weekend AMSA's Speech and Debate Team participated in the MSDL State Speech and Congress Finals, the final tournament of the year. Captain Aishwarya Silam placed 3rd in Children’s Literature! Captain Sugita Mahendarkar and Sophomore Shreya Venkayala were eligible to compete after all their hard work this past year and did a great job in Group Discussion! The debate topic was "Education with focus areas Equity, Government Regulation, College Tuition, and School Security." Congratulations to the team!
