Speech and Debate Team Excels at State Tournament

This past weekend AMSA's Speech and Debate Team participated in the MSDL Speech Debate and Congress State Tournament with some great results! 

In the Group Discussion category, where the debate topic was "Energy and the Environment", Captain Kavika Krishnan was the State Champion, with Treasurer Dominick Pirrotta placing 3rd and Aryan Kumar in 5th. In the Children's Literature category, Aishwarya Silam placed 5th. In the Radio Broadcasting category, Nikhita Athipathy placed 5th and Jyothisha Chilukuri placed 6th.
