Student-Athlete Coordinates COVID Kits

Student-athlete Rachel Bibiu was busy this holiday season giving back to her community while representing AMSA and the MIAA. The junior who participates in Field Hockey, Basketball and Track & Field, coordinated a "COVID Kit" drive at the St. Andrew's Mission of St. Peter's parish in Worcester. Each kit would be assembled to include masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, thermometers and wipes. With the help of family, friends, basketball teammates and members of her parish community, Rachel was able to deliver 52 fully stocked"COVID Kits" to Abby's House, a Worcester-based non-profit that provides shelter and affordable housing, as well as advocacy and support services to homeless, battered and low-income women. Great job Rachel!
