Students Hold Progressive Era Dinner Party

Make way for the Progressives! Students in Ms. Murphy’s AP US History class took on the identities of key Progressive Era figures for a Progressive Era Dinner Party. Personalities included Presidents T. Roosevelt, Taft, & Wilson, muckrakers Upton Sinclair, Lincoln Steffens, & Jacob Riis, reformers Carry Nation, Ida B. Wells, Jane Addams & Ida Tarbell, captains of industry John D. Rockefeller, JP Morgan, & Andrew Carnegie, and a mine worker, immigrant, and railroad worker, who represented the working class of the day.
