We proudly announce that U.S. News & World Report has named AMSA the #7 public high school in Massachusetts for 2023-2024 (out of 405 public high schools, up from 365 public high schools last year). See the entire list here.
AMSA continues its outstanding streak as a top public high school in various categories year after year. Additional rankings include:
- #4 public high school in the Boston Metro area (out of 255)
- #253 public high schools in the U.S. (out of 17,680)
- #62 public charter high schools in the U.S. (out of 3,097)
U.S. News rankings are based on measures in six categories: College Readiness 30%, State Assessment Proficiency 20%, State Assessment Performance 20%, Underserved Student Performance 10%, College Curriculum Breadth 10%, and Graduation Rate 10%. Three out of the six measures underwent methodology changes for this year’s rankings.
AMSA’s mission is to create an atmosphere of celebration of knowledge where children of all backgrounds and abilities excel in all subjects, especially in math, science, and technology, empowering them to succeed in the workplace in our modern high-tech world.
