The AMSA Athletic Department is pleased to welcome a new coach to our community and it is Mr. Jason Ayik, who has taken over the reins of the Softball program.
Ayik comes to AMSA with over 20 years of coaching and playing experience. As owner, coach and director of the Central Mass. Crushers, Ayick has helped collect more than 10 championships and more than 40 top-three finishes. He has also enjoyed a three-year head-coaching stint at Mountview Middle School and another three-year stint as an assistant coach for Clinton High. More recently, he served as the two-year Head Coach at Division 1 St. Peter-Marian before the school merged with Holy Name.
"I'm very excited for this opportunity to be named Head Coach of such a promising program," said Ayick. "This is a school that is very strong academically and has great kids. I believe there is talent in this program and I'm excited to see where we are headed."
Ayik is a resident of Jefferson, MA where he lives with his wife and four children.
