We are proud to announce that eighth grader Manu (Nick) Prabakaran earned 2nd Place in the annual National History Day Massachusetts competition in the Research Paper category for his age group!
And now it is on to Nationals! Nick’s paper, “The Past Building the Future: The Barriers Breached during the Hong Kong Handover and how it Builds Our Current World,” advances to the National History Day competition, which will be held virtually in June.
“I'm very proud of him. He has the heart of a true scholar. It's not the grade but the knowledge that is his goal,” said Nick’s history teacher, Mr. Anderson.
Congratulations and best of luck to Nick!
