US News Ranks AMSA #3 Public High School in Mass. for 2021

We are proud to announce that U.S. News & World Report has named AMSA the #3 public high school in Massachusetts for 2021 (out of 365 high schools)!

We moved up from #4 last year and continued our outstanding ranking as a top 5 public high school in the state year after year. Only AMSA and Boston Latin School were in last year’s top 5.

Nationally, AMSA ranked #93 out of 17,857 public high schools and #21 out of 2,745 charter high schools.

Rounding out the 2021 top five public high schools in the state:

#1 - Boston Latin School (Boston)

#2 - Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School (Hadley)

#4 - Pioneer Charter School of Science 2 (Saugus)

#5 - The Bromfield School (Harvard)

U.S. News rankings are based on measures in six categories: college readiness, college curriculum breadth, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, and graduation rate.
