Quiz Bowl

Are you the kid who always raises their hand when the teacher asks a question? Do your friends think you’re a bit of a know-it-all? We have your niche! Put your skills to the test and engage in some fun, healthy competition. The Quiz Bowl team competes against other schools in academic, game-show style tournaments. Most tournaments are not televised, although each year we also audition for the WGBH program High School Quiz Show. Most meets are on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  If teams qualify, we also attend regional and national competitions. Student fee includes a team t-shirt to wear to tournaments.

Grades: 6-12
