National Art Honor Society

The National Art Honor Society's annual service project is the Memory Project. Each year we are assigned a different country and every student that signs up receives a portrait of a child from that country. This year we were assigned to India.  These children and teens are unable to live with their parents due to issues of abuse, neglect, or loss of life, so they all live together in large group homes. Each student receives a picture of a child along with their name and how old they are, they are then tasked with creating a portrait of that child that is then mailed to and delivered to that child through the Memory Project.
